Jean Parker

Jean Parker ( born August 11, 1915 in Deer Lodge, Powell County, Montana, † 30 November 2005 in Woodland Hills, California; actually Mae Green ) was an American actress.

Life

Parker grew up in rural Montana. She was discovered by Ida Koverman, the personal assistant to Louis B. Mayer, for the film, after she had won a drawing competition. Parker appeared in several major films in the 1930s. Between 1932 and 1966 she starred in about 70 movies with. Since the 1940s she also played on Broadway. Jean Parker was married four times, including with the radio man Douglas Dawson and actor Robert Lowery.
