Jean-Paul Abalo

Jean -Paul Abalo Yaovi ( born June 26, 1975 in Lomé ) is a Togolese football player.

The defender should first pursue a career in higher administrative posts by the will of his parents, in a tournament with the national youth team, he was discovered by French scouts. He first played in France at LB Châteauroux, then moved to Amiens SC (for which he took up at least for 10 years ) and fourth-rate USL Dunkerque. In order to play again but higher class he took in early 2006 to a range of APOEL Nicosia.

After the 2006 World Cup, he moved to Greece for Ethnikos Piraeus. In the summer of 2007, he followed his former coach Otto Pfister in the Sudan to Khartoum Al Merrikh.

The 1.77 m relatively small defender is also captain of the Togolese national team with 64 caps an experienced participant in the World Cup 2006.
