Jean-Paul Besset

Jean -Paul Besset ( born August 17, 1946 in Chamalières, Puy -de- Dôme ) is a French journalist and politician Les Verts.

Life

As a freelance journalist for RTL Besset, Le Matin, Libération, Le Monde and Politis 1967 worked until 2005. From 1974 to 1985 Besset was a member of the Revolutionary Communist League and then transferred in 1985 to the party Les Verts. Since 2009, Besset MEP in the European Parliament.

Besset is at the Group of the Greens / European Free Alliance and for this Group Member in the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Delegation for relations with the Mashreq countries
