Jean-Paul Gauzès
Jean -Paul Gauzès ( born October 1, 1947 in Toulouse ) is a French politician of the Union pour un mouvement populaire (UMP ).
Life
Gauzès studied economics and law and worked after his studies as a lawyer. Since 1983 he is the mayor of Sainte- Agathe- d'Aliermont. Gauzès since 2009 Member of the European Parliament, he was one of the first signatories of the organization Finance Watch.
MEP
In the election period 2009-2014 GAUZÈS is a member of the Board of the Group of the European People's Party. He is a member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Delegation for relations with the Korean Peninsula. As deputy Gauzes is in the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development and in the Delegation to the ACP -EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly.
