Jean Petitot

Jean Petitot (* July 12, 1607 in Geneva, † April 3, 1691 in Vevey) was a Swiss painter, particularly specializing in miniatures and enamels.

He worked at the court of Charles the First in England, and after his death in 1649 at the court of Louis XIV in Paris. The miniatures of Petitot are much sought after by collectors today.
