Jean Philippe

Jean Philippe is a French singer and participant of two Euro Vision Song Contest.

He represented France at the 4th Euro Vision Song Contest 1959 in Cannes with his song Oui, Oui, Oui, Oui (German: Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes ) and took third place with 15 points. This piece was published by the Chansonier Sacha Distel again and reached there higher awareness. When Euro Vision Song Contest 1962 Jean Philippe took then Switzerland with the song Le Retour ( Eng.: The Return ). He was there Tenth of 16 seats and received 2 points. He shared this place with Inger Jacobsen ( Norway) and Ellen Winther (Denmark).
