Jean-Pierre Jeunet

Jean -Pierre Jeunet ( born September 3, 1953 in Roanne, France ) is a French film director. His artistic handwriting include quirky characters and an exceptionally strong directorial creative power.

Life

His feature film debut in 1991 with the film Jeunet Delicatessen, in which he directed in collaboration with Marc Caro. Already in the 1980s, Jeunet and Caro had a number of sometimes highly acclaimed short films, music videos and commercials filmed, including The Escape and The Merry- Go-Round, for which she received a César in 1981.
