Jean Rochefort

Jean Raoul Robert Rochefort ( born April 29, 1930 in Dinan, France) is a French actor. Occasionally he also works as a director.

Life

After Jean Rochefort had worked without much success in the theater and cabaret as an actor and director, he began in the mid -1950s, his career as a film actor. In the early 1960s, Roche Fort established in the French film a much sought after comedian and character actor. He is continuously active today as a film actor and has now played more than 150 television or film roles.

Rochefort was often seen in comic movies, for example, on the side of Louis de Funès and Pierre Richard, alongside whom he appeared in The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe as the scheming intelligence chief.
