Jean Rossius

Jean Rossius (* December 27 1890 in Cerexhe - Heuseux; † May 2, 1966 in Liège ) was a Belgian racing cyclist.

1912 Jean Rossius won Liège- Bastogne -Liège in the class of independents. In 1913, he turned pro and raced until 1930. 1919 he became Belgian champion in the road race, after he had in 1913 already occupied the third place.

Seven Rossius took part in the Tour de France and won a total of five stages. Four times he was forced to retire in 1914, he finished fourth in 1920 to seventh in 1922 and ninth in the overall standings.
