Jean Tabary

Jean Tabary ( born March 5, 1930 in Stockholm; † August 18, 2011 in Pont- l'Abbé - d'Arnoult, France) was a French cartoonist.

Career

His most famous work is the series published from 1962 to the Grand Vizier Iznogoud, which he designed together with the text forming René Goscinny. It created a total of 27 albums, the first 13 with texts by René Goscinny. Tabary distinguished himself again and again as a draftsman in his own stories.
