Jeanne Cherhal

Jeanne Cherhal ( born February 28, 1978 in Nantes ) is a French singer- songwriter.

Biography

Your youth spent Jeanne Cherhal in Erbray, near Châteaubriant. The Frenchwoman studied philosophy and then moved to Paris. She began her music career as a pianist and was accompanied by guitarist Éric Löhrer for smaller concerts. Published in 2002 Cherhal their self-titled debut album. This followed a previous EP with six songs, which was also self- titled. The second album, Douze fois par an was published in 2004 with great success. The end of 2005, she starred in the French version of Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues. Followed in 2006 's third studio album called L' Eau followed by a European tour. Jeanne Cherhal participated in two short films in which she played the lead role.
