Jebsen Group

The Jebsen Group, consisting of the Jebsen & Jessen sister company (SEA ) and Jebsen & Co. is a family-run Hong Kong trading and logistics company.

Particulars

The company was founded Jebsen & Co. in March 1895 coming from the two of Aabenraa Jacob Jebsen and Heinrich Jessen in Hong Kong. Jebsen & Co. began as a shipping agency shipping company Jebsens father, who ran a fleet of fourteen coastal steamers on the Chinese coast. The field expanded rapidly from a specialized trading company in China. In January 1909, the subsidiary Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg opened to coordinate the trading of the company in Europe. In December 1963, the Jebsen & Jessen Group was established as a holding company for the operation of subsidiaries in Singapore and Malaysia.

To date, the focus of activities in East Asia, with the focus of Jebsen & Co. is located in mainland China and Jebsen & Jessen are particularly represented in Southeast Asia. The Jebsen Group is the holding company has subsidiaries in Australia, Bangladesh, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Denmark, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Alone Jebsen & Co. posted sales of 15.6 billion Hong Kong dollars ( equivalent to about 1.5 billion euros ) in 2012.

The hallmark of the group are three wreathed mackerel.
