Jeff Carter

Jeff Carter ( born January 1, 1985 in London, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since February 2012 with the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

The 1.91 m wide center played for the Strathroy Rockets in a unterklassigen Canadian junior league in Ontario before the attackers from the 2001/02 season for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the Ontario Hockey League to the ice went, for which Carter was a total of four seasons active. During this time, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2003 as eleventh in the first round by the Philadelphia Flyers.

This gave him just before the trade deadline, on 23 February 2012, in exchange for Jack Johnson and a first-round vote in NHL Entry Draft 2012 NHL Entry Draft or 2013, the Los Angeles Kings from.

Internationally

With the Canadian national team Jeff Carter won in the U18 Junior World Cup in 2003 and the gold medal at the U20 World Junior Championships in 2004 and 2005, the silver and the gold medal. With the seniors, he participated in the 2006 World Cup. 2014 he was with the Canadian National Team Olympic champion.
