Jeff Chimenti

Jeff Chimenti ( born October 21, 1968) is an American keyboardist, best known by the rock band Ratdog.

Jeff Chimente grew up in San Francisco. At the age of four years found Chimente taste for music, as he imitated the church organ player and so found his way to the piano. At seven, he began music lessons with Angela Biggio, who was a student of Leonard Bernstein and Rudolf Serkin. During his high school years he joined the " South San Francisco HS jazz band " at. About " Dave Ellis 's jazz quartet " Chimenti was keyboardist of the band Ratdog Bob Weir, where he became a master musician in May 1997. So far, he took with the band on two albums. About Weir he came in 2002 as keyboardist for the Grateful Dead sequel, The Other Ones, which was shortly afterwards renamed The Dead, where Chimenti still played and recorded another album. 2009 founded Weir and Phil Lesh, the band Furthur, Jeff Chimenti also at the keyboard played and is represented on albums.
