Jeff Hawkins

Jeff Hawkins ( born June 1, 1957 in Long Iceland, New York) is an American IT entrepreneur and neuroscientists. Hawkins is co-founder of the company Palm Inc., Handspring and Numenta and the research laboratories Redwood Neuroscience Institute (now part of the University of California, Berkeley ). He has one of the first PDAs - he developed PalmPilot - led to commercial success. His interest lies in exploring the intelligence to use this knowledge to build intelligent machines.
