Jeff Perry (American actor)

Jeff Perry ( born August 16, 1955 in Highland Park, Illinois ) is an American actor with roles in film, television and theater.

Life

Perry grew up in Highland Park, Illinois, the son of Joe and Jane Perry. His father was a teacher at Highland Park High School. After a council of one of his sisters Perry played a role in a school play, which sparked his interest in acting.

He is one of the founders of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois. From a college fraternity, he started together with his fellow actors Gary Sinise and Terry Kinney in the basement of a town church this production company that came over time to international fame, and among other actors such as John Malkovich, John Mahoney and Joan Allen had under contract. After spending nearly two decades with the Steppenwolf, Perry was incorporated in 1987 to Los Angeles to his work in film and television to pursue. He has remained until today.
