Jeff Rouse

Jeffrey " Jeff" Norman Rouse ( born February 6, 1970 in Fredericksburg, Virginia ) is a retired American swimmer.

Rouse competed for Stanford University. In 1991 he became world champion over 100 m backstroke. At the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, ​​he was able to confirm his title with the silver medal in the 100m backstroke, with the 4 × 100 m medley relay then succeeded him the Olympic gold medal. Four years later, at the home Games in Atlanta, he managed both the 100m back and with the medley relay to win the gold medal.
