Jeff White (visual effects)
Jeff White is a VFX supervisor, who was nominated in 2013 for Marvel's The Avengers for an Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects.
Life
He grew up in upstate New York and went to Ithaca College in New York. He then made his Master of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design. After his studies he worked as technical director at Laika Studios in Portland. In 2002 he joined as a technical manager in the field of creatures to Industrial Light & Magic. In this role, he was on such films as Pirates of the Caribbean - Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and Star Wars: - involved Revenge of the Sith Episode III. After that, he was in movies like Transformers - Revenge of active and Marvel's The Avengers as a VFX supervisor. For the latter he was nominated along with Janek Sirrs, Guy Williams and Daniel Sudick for an Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects.
