Jeffrey Carver

Jeffrey A. Carver ( born 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American science fiction author. Today he lives in the Boston area.

His favorite subjects are according to his own testimony, space travel, contact with aliens, artificial intelligence, " transcendent realities " and the moral, ethical and spiritual implications of these options.

Among his most famous works are the Chaos chronicles, among other things, of an alien species - the Quarx - act to protect the eons the diverse worlds from disasters, by applying the principles of chaos theory in an ingenious way.
