Jeffrey Satinover

Jeffrey Burke Satinover ( born September 4, 1947) is an American psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. He is known for books on controversial issues such as the Bible Code, neuroscience, and especially for his writings and his political commitment regarding homosexuality and civil partnership. Copies of his 1996 bestseller Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth were distributed in 1998 to all the bishops at the Lambeth Conference of the Anglican Communion. His work is widely used and quoted and just as widely criticized. He is one of the main modern sources supporting the view that homosexuality is changeable.
