Jelle Van Damme

Jelle Van Damme ( born October 10, 1983 in Lokeren, East Flanders ) is a Belgian footballer. The defender has since 1 July 2010 at the Wolverhampton Wanderers under contract, but moved to the winter break 2010/11 back to his Belgian home to Standard Liege.

On 29 March 2003, he debuted at the European Championship qualifier against Croatia in the Belgian national team, and was founded in 2004 with Ajax Amsterdam Dutch masters.

Since May 2008 he is married to the former Belgian tennis player Elke Clijsters. In October 2009, they became parents of a son named Cruz Leo.
