Jelmstorf is a municipality in the midst of the Lüneburg Heath in the district of Uelzen, Lower Saxony. The municipality belongs to the Jelmstorf Samtgemeinde Bevensen - Ebstorf.

Geography
Geographical Location
The community is located between the north and Bienenbuttel Bad Bevensen in the south, directly on the B 4 Through the municipal area flows the Ilmenau.
Neighboring communities
Clockwise communities Bienenbuttel and Altenmedingen, the town of Bad Bevensen and the community Natendorf.

The municipality consists of the villages Jelmstorf Addenstorf, Jelmstorf and Bruchtorf and the living space rock mill.

On 1 July 1972, the municipality Bruchtorf were incorporated.

Coat of arms
The Coat of Arms description is: Argent, a mountain with the middle of the upper plate edge almost -reach three green mountain. Then over a silver arch foot a golden freight wagon with three golden bales of goods.
Culture and sights
- Shooting club Jelmstorf and neighborhood e.V. The gun club was founded in 1926 and existed until 1939. Foundation on March 11, 1977. 1978, the municipality of the gun club a building on the old sports field as protecting the house.
