Jenesien

Genesio (Italian San Genesio Atesino ) is a municipality in South Tyrol (Italy), 2995 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Geography

Genesio is located below the plateau of Salten on the southern slope of the Tschögglberg north of Bolzano. Between Bolzano and San Genesio exists alongside a long and winding road connecting the cable car Genesio. Due to the location of the European long-distance hiking route E5.
