Jenin (Romansh Gianin? / I ) is a municipality in the district of Maienfeld in the district land quart of the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.

The coat of arms motif with the two grapes was used already in the court seal of Jenin in 1536.
Geography
The municipality is located on a debris fan of Teilerrüfi the foot of the mountain on the right side of the valley Vilán the Chur Rhine Valley. Of the total municipality area of 10.5 km ² 504 ha used for agriculture (some alpine inns, partly arable land and 87 ha Rebbaupflanzungen ). More 421 hectares are covered by forest and woodland. Of the remainder, 87 ha is unproductive area (mostly mountains) and 38 ha settlement area. Above Jenin is the ruins of the Castle Neu - Aspermont.
Jenin is adjacent to Maienfeld, Malan and Buchen in Prättigau.
Population
From the end of 2004 757 inhabitants were 698 ( = 92%) of Swiss citizens.

The mayor is Baseli Werth (2011 ).
