Jenna Elfman

Jenna Elfman ( born September 30, 1971 in Los Angeles, California as Jennifer Mary Butala ) is an American actress.

Career

Despite completion of classical ballet training Jenna Elfman had to abandon their plans of a ballet career because of an injury. Then shot commercials and worked as a background dancer in ZZ Top. In 1990, she also had an appearance as a dancer in the Depeche Mode Halo video ( directed by Anton Corbijn ), which was published on the Video Collection "Strange too". She later starred in several television series and took the acting teacher Milton Katselas lessons.

Her breakthrough came with the role of Dharma in the television series Dharma & Greg. For this role she was nominated twice for an Emmy. They also awarded the 1999 Golden Globe. The U.S. television network CBS in 2006 took the comedy series dating Alex into the program, whose producer Elfman was with Faye Oshima Belyeu. From 2009 to 2010 she was also in the CBS sitcom Accidentally on Purpose as the lead actress in front of the camera, but the series was discontinued after the end of the first season.

Private life

Since 1995, Elfman is married to actor Bodhi Elfman, nephew of film composer Danny Elfman. On 23 July 2007 their son was born in Los Angeles. March 2, 2010 their second son was born.
