Jennifer Egan

Jennifer Egan ( born September 7, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American writer. For A Visit From the Goon Squad, she was awarded the 2011 Pulitzer Prize.

Life

Egan grew up in San Francisco, studied at the University of Pennsylvania and St. John's College, Cambridge. She has been writing since 1993 novels, stories and essays, and articles for magazines such as The New Yorker, The New York Times and Harper 's Bazaar.
