Jennifer Esposito

Jennifer Esposito (* April 11, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American actress.

Life and career

Esposito was born to an interior designer and a data processing consultant on Wall Street and former music producer. She dreamed of an acting career and attended the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City.

Esposito got some small roles in television and cinema offered, but was waiting for a bigger role and worked so long as a waitress. The wait paid off because in 1995 she landed a role in the television soap opera The City. With this role, she caught the attention of casting agency of the series Spin City, which had ' to occupy the role of the girlfriend of Michael J. Fox character. But over time she found her role unsatisfactory and left the series in 1999. Since they played some major roles in well-known films. Spike Lee cast her for a role in Summer of Sam.
