Jennifer Saunders

Jennifer Saunders ( born July 6, 1958 in Sleaford, Lincolnshire ) is a British comedienne, actress and screenwriter.

Life

Jennifer Saunders was trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, during which she met her future comedy partner, Dawn French. Together with her, she appeared in the early 1980s, the cabaret The Comedy Store and later at The Comic Strip, where they formed a solid and popular ensemble along with some other colleagues.

The success of this group, they finally brought together in 1982 in the format of The Comic Strip presents on TV. After further appearances and success on television they wrote and Dawn French 1987 's comedy series called French & Saunders, which was immediately a great success.
