Jennifer Zietz

Jennifer "Jenny" Zietz ( born 14 September 1983 in Rostock ) is a German football player. The midfielder plays for the Bundesliga club 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam.

Career

Club football

Jennifer Zietz began her career at the age of six years in the BSG post Rostock. In 1999, she transferred to 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam. With turbine was six times German champion and three times winner of the DFB Cup. She won five times the DFB Cup Hall and in 2002 was awarded as top scorer. Greatest successes in the club winning the UEFA Women 's Cup in 2005 and winning the Champions League in 2010. On 1 April 2007 she took over the office of the team captain, after its predecessor Ariane Hingst joined the Swedish first division club Djurgården Damfotboll. In May 2012, Zietz suffered a torn ACL.

National

Your first cap for the German national team they played on 28 January 2005 against Australia. With the U- 21 team won the Nordic Cup in July 2006. Their first international goal they scored on 1 March 2010 during the Algarve Cup against China in stoppage time. With the national Zietz won the European Championship in 2009, remained in the tournament but without the use.
