Jenning Huizenga

Jenning Huizenga ( born March 29, 1984 in Franeker ) is a Dutch racing cyclist who is active on rail and road.

Jenning Huizenga began his sporting career as a speed skater. In 2000, he finished sixth at the Dutch skating marathon.

Huizenga began in 1998 next to the speed skating with cycling, drove as a teenager and junior initially focused on the road until he was active on the web. In 2006 he was third in the Dutch champion in the individual pursuit in 2007 he won the title, as well as 2011, 2012 and 2013., 2011, he was also Dutch runners-up in the scratch as well as together with Levi Heiman, Wim Stroetinga and Tim Veldt national champion in the team Pursuit. In the UCI Track World Championships 2008 in Manchester, he was behind Bradley Wiggins Vice World Champion in this discipline. At the Track Cycling World Cup 2013/2014, he won the overall title in the individual pursuit.

Twice - in 2008 and 2012 - took Jenning Huizenga at the Olympic Games in part: 2008 in Beijing, he finished 18th in the individual pursuit, and in London in 2012 he was awarded the Dutch Railways four ( Heiman, Veldt and Stroetinga ) seventh in the team pursuit.
