Jenny Gago

Jenny Gago ( born September 11, 1953 in Peru ) is an American actress of Peruvian descent.

Life

Jenny Gago graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the study of Theatre Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then studied acting with Lee Strasberg. She made her debut in the television drama A Gun in the House from the year 1981.

Gago played in the adventure film Old Gringo (1989 ) on the side of Jane Fonda and Gregory Peck one of the major roles for which she received the Golden Eagle Award. She took over in the film drama My Family ( 1995) the role of Maria Sanchez, which was shown in their younger years by Jennifer Lopez. For his role in the television series Dangerous Minds - A class apart, she was nominated in 1996 for the NCLR Bravo Award and in 1998 for the ALMA Award. In the movie The Cross (2001), she played the role of the mother of Jesus.

Gago has a son.
