Jenny Hansson

Jenny Hansson (* 26 August 1980 in Gällivare ) is a Swedish cross country skier who had specialized in runs over long distances. When prestigious Vasaloppet 90km classic technique could 2011 be victorious after they had occupied in 2007 and 2008 second places over the years. In the years 2009 and 2010, they won in the overall standings of the FIS Marathon Cup. In 2012 she was the winner in the overall standings of the Ski Classics.

She won the Italian ski marathon Marcialonga in the years 2008 and 2010 and wins the Birkebeinerrennet 2010. In 2008, she was able to achieve a podium finish in a World Cup race of the season (4x 5 km).

In May 2013 Jenny Hansson announced that they would give up competitive sports.
