Jenny Wilson (singer)

Jenny Wilson ( born October 20, 1975) is a Swedish pop musician.

Career

In 1997 she founded together with Karl -Jonas Winqist the band First Floor Power. Sara Wilson and Per bearing came with it and the band released two albums between 1998 and 2003. Wilson goes but since then more and more of their own way. So she wrote in 2003 together with the Swedish band The Knife also their song You take my breath away. In the same year she also wrote the music for the play Nattjärilen at Stockholm City Theatre and began to also to work on her first solo album. This was released on the label Rabid Records the band The Knife in 2005 and bears the name of Love and Youth. She has even played, sung and produced all the songs on the album. In February 2009 she released her second album Hardships! on their own label Gold Medal Recordings. In 2010 she was awarded with the European Border Breakers Award ( EBBA ).
