Jeppe Hein

Jeppe Hein ( born 1974 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish sculptor living in Berlin and works as a representative of the White Cube and kinetic art.

Life

Jeppe Hein studied from 1997 to 2003 at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Between 1999 and 2000 he was an exchange student in Frankfurt am Main at the Städel School of Fine Arts. His work is now being exhibited internationally, including at the Tate Liverpool (A Secret History of Clay ), in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Leipzig ( performative installation) and in New York at the Museum PS1 ( Flying Cube ).

2012 Hein was awarded the Robert Jacobsen Prize.
