Jerauld County is a county located in the state of South Dakota in the United States. The population in 2000 was still 2295 inhabitants, this declined until 2010 to 2071. The the county seat ( county seat ) is in Wessington Springs.
Geography
The county has an area of 1,380 square kilometers, of which 7 square kilometers (0.51 percent) of water. It is divided into 14 townships: Alpena, Anina, Blaine, Chery, Crow, Crow Lake, Franklin, Harmony, Logan, Marlar, Media, Pleasant, viola and Wessington Springs and a unogranisiertes territory: Dale. Jerauld County bordered clockwise to the following counties: Beadle County, Sanborn County, Arora County, Brule County, Buffalo County and Hand County.
