Jeremiah Dixon

Jeremiah Dixon ( born July 27, 1733 in Cockfield, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, † January 22, 1779, ibid ) was an English surveyor, in the years 1763 and 1769 with his partner Charles Mason called the Mason - Dixon Line surveyed.
