Jeremy Hunt (cyclist)

Jeremy Hunt ( born March 13, 1974 in Macklin, Saskatchewan, Canada ) is a sports director and former British racing cyclist.

Sports career

Jeremy Hunt in 1996 at Banesto professional, where he went four years. His first victories gained the Sprinter 1997 at the Tour de l' Avenir and the Aragon round trip. In 1998, he won two stages in the Tour of Portugal and 1999 at the Vuelta a Castilla y León. In the 2000 season, he joined the French team BigMat - Auber 93, competed at the Sydney Olympics in the road race, but which he did not finish. In the following three years he won stages at the Herald Sun Tour, the Mediterranean cruise and the Circuit Franco -Belge. In 2002 he succeeded the biggest success of his career: He won the highly rated French -day races GP Ouest France- Plouay. As of 2004, Hunt went to the Belgian team MrBookmaker.com and from 2006 for Unibet.com, even for the Pro-Tour team a year later. In 2008 he signed with Crédit Agricole. He then drove two years for the Cervélo Test Team and another two years for Sky Procycling.

End of the 2012 season, he finished his career and has since 2013 Athletic Director of the Continental Team Synergy Baku Cycling Project.
