Jeremy Hunt (politician)

Jeremy Richard Streynsham Hunt ( born 1 November 1966 in Godalming, Surrey ) is a British politician of the Conservative Party. In May 2010, he was Minister for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport ( Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport). Since September 2012, he leads the health department.

Biography

Studies and professional activities

After visiting the traditional and elitist Charterhouse School studied the son of Vice- Admiral Sir Nicholas John Streynsham Hunt, the Commander -in- Chief Fleet of the Royal Navy from 1985 to 1987, at Magdalen College, Oxford University and acquired there a degree in consecutive program Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). During his studies, he was also President of the Oxford University Conservative 1987 Association.

After graduating, he was initially a management consultant before he worked as a teacher of English in Japan, where he not only learned the Japanese language, but also an expert on the modern Japanese culture was.
