Jeremy Lusk

Jeremy Lusk (* 26 November 1984 in San Diego, California, † 10 February 2009 in San José, Costa Rica) was an American freestyle motocross rider.

A native of East San Diego Country Lusk started early to ride the motorcycle. At the age of three he began the motocross ride a Yamaha PW 50 that he got for Christmas. His FMX career started in 1994. Mike Metzger and Seth Enslow were the models which he emulated. In order to achieve their level, he coached in Palm Ave in Chula Vista, a famous motocross spot with difficult Cliff jumps and technically demanding passages.

Lusk won Gold and Silver at the X Games 2008.

He died of a cervical spine injury and multiple brain injuries he sustained in a failed landing after a " Heart Attack lookback indian air backflip " on February 7, 2009 in Costa Rica at a freestyle motocross contest. He is survived by his wife Lauren.
