Jeremy Piven

Jeremy Piven ( born July 26, 1965 in Chicago ) is an American actor.

Life

Piven visited after his high school graduation from the Evanston Township High School Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He belonged to the ensemble of the Piven Theatre Workshop, founded by Piven parents, Byrne ( †) and Joyce Hiller Piven. Piven appeared at the side of his close friend and fellow actor John Cusack in several films. Cusack and his sisters Joan and Ann are also among the graduates of the Piven workshops.

Piven played from 2004 to 2011 the role of the acting agent Ari Gold in the HBO series Entourage, a role for which he was nominated four times for an Emmy and won three consecutive times. In 2008 he was awarded for this role with a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor. Piven was previously already in the short-lived ABC drama series Cupid, and was an ensemble member of the comedy series Ellen with Ellen DeGeneres in the lead role.

In the music video for " Drivin ' Me Wild " by Common, with whom he shared in Smokin' Aces played, Piven has a cameo appearance.

On August 3, 2009 he had a one-time appearance on WWE Monday Night RAW as " Special Guest Host".
