Jeremy Rebek

Jeremy Rebek ( born February 8, 1976 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario ) is a Canadian- Austrian ice hockey player who stands in January 2013 in Asiago in the Italian Serie A1 under contract.

Career

Rebek began his career with the Owen Sound Platers in the Ontario Hockey League and ventured first time in 1996 to move to Europe, where he first played in the German Regionalliga and then to EK Zell am See moved to Austria. However, for a commitment to Toledo Storm in the East Coast Hockey League, he returned to America, where he joined the Minor Leagues in the following years between several teams. In the American Hockey League, he brought it on only two marks, however, where he successfully no point scorer. In 2003 he came back to Europe, as the EC Graz 99ers were looking for a strong offensive defender. Despite good performances Rebeks but it went with the team in the following years, athletic increasingly being eroded.

After he had helped out at the end of the 2005/06 season at HC Ambri -Piotta in the Swiss National League A, he moved along with his Grazer teammates Warren Norris for EC KAC, where he scored two years along with Jeff Tory to the point best defenders could set important accents and on the offensive. However, since at that time failed to sporting success and the KAC, he decided in 2008 to a move to Salzburg, where the Red Bulls were now become the defining teams in the Austrian league. There, however, he just missed out on the great success in Salzburg under the EC KAC his former team could win the championship in his first year. After spending the 2010/11 season at the Vienna Capitals, he moved to the 2011/12 season to the Belfast Giants of the British Elite Ice Hockey League. In January 2013, the exchange to Italy, where he signed with Asiago of the Serie A1 followed.

Internationally

Rebek was granted Austrian citizenship in 2006, which entitled him to use in the Austrian national team. Overall, he recorded four invitations to the World Championships, scoring three goals in 22 games and six assists.
