Jeremy Thomas
Jeremy Thomas CBE ( born July 26, 1949 in Ealing, London ) is a British film producer.
Thomas is the son of director Ralph Thomas and nephew of director Gerald Thomas. His career as a producer and executive producer spans films of Bernardo Bertolucci, Nagisa Oshima, Stephen Frears, David Cronenberg, and many others. In 1987, he took for The Last Emperor, among others, an Oscar and a British Academy Film Award for best film against. 2001 Thomas was awarded the British Independent Film Award for Best Producer. In 2006 he received the European Film Award for outstanding achievements in European cinema.
Jeremy Thomas was President of the International Jury at the International Film Festival in Berlin in 1994.
