Jermain Taylor

Jermain Taylor ( born August 11, 1978 in Little Rock, Arkansas ) is an American boxer.

Amateur career

Taylor won in 1998 and 1999 at the prestigious Golden Gloves tournament, the 1998 Goodwill Games, he finished on a third place, he lost in the semifinals against Gaidarbek Gaidarbekow.

In 2000 he qualified for the Olympic Games in Sydney and reached there in the light middleweight bronze medal.
