Jermuk

Jermuk (Armenian Ջերմուկ, in scientific transliteration J̌ermowk, IPA: [ d͡ʒɛɹ'mɯk ] ) is a spa town in Armenia.

Jermuk has 6192 inhabitants according to the statistics of 2011 and is located in a scenic area of the province Wajoz Dzor, where there are many hot springs. Therefore Jermuk was built in Soviet times to a well-known spa. In addition, mineral water is bottled here. The access road leads above the Arpa valley past the Gndevank monastery.
