Jeroen van der Boom

Jeroen van der Boom ( born June 22, 1972 in Nijmegen) is a Dutch show host and singer.

Biography

Since 1996 he has been master of ceremonies and presented up to now, among others 15 miljoen cafeterias, Barney 's Dart Show or Domino Day.

In 2006 he recorded an album with the title Vander Boom on, amongst others consisting of cover versions of Do not Stop Me Now (Queen) or Wonderful Tonight (Eric Clapton ). In 2007 he brought his first single, She's a Lady, a cover of Tom Jones, out. He had with the single Jij bent zo, a cover version of the song by David Bisbal Silencio, in Dutch, his biggest hit. The song reached on August 11, 2007 1st place among the Nederlandse Top 40 Also successful were the singles Eén wereld and Betekenis. In April 2008, his debut album was released Jij bent zo. In November 2008 he joined the band De Toppers, he represented with which the Netherlands at Euro Vision Song Contest 2009.

Van der Boom has married his girlfriend Dany de Wit on 10 July 2011. The two are parents of two sons.
