Jerome Froese

Jerome Froese (born 24 November 1970 at Berlin -Schöneberg ) is a German electronic musician and son of the electronic music pioneer Edgar Froese of the group Tangerine Dream.

Jerome Froese was 1990 to 2006 also a member of the group Tangerine Dream, which was founded by his father, Edgar Froese 1967. Christmas 1987 Jerome received his first instrument, a drum set. From here on, Jerome also practiced on keyboards and guitars to joining Tangerine Dream. Jerome's first stint with Tangerine Dream was on the album Lily on the Beach, where he played on the play Radio City guitar. His first official participation of Tangerine Dream was on the 1990 released album Melrose and he went in the same year with the band on tour.

After Paul Haslinger Tangerine Dream had left the band worked live and in the studio as a duo (father Edgar Froese and Jerome Froese 's son ) with various guest musicians.

In 2000, Jerome started as a DJ with releases a series of solo recordings under the pseudonym TDJ Rome. His first single under his own name came in 2004 with the limited edition 1- track C8 H10 N4 O2 out ( the chemical formula for caffeine). Published in 2005, Jerome Radio Pluto, an EP, which served as a precursor to his later appeared solo album Neptunes.
