The Jersey pound ( engl. Jersey Pound, Jersey £) is the currency of the Island of Jersey.

The Jersey Pound corresponding in its value exactly the British pound. For every pound Jersey holds the Treasurer of the States of Jersey 1.10 pounds sterling as collateral, so it is a very expensive own currency. It is the ordinary means of the islanders, with the pound sterling but can also be paid anywhere in Jersey.

The shares issued in 2010 notes appear first trilingual English / French / Jèrriais. Here is the front side in English, the French back ( " États de Jersey" value expressed in livres ) and Jèrriais (in value terms in Louis).

Outside of Jersey, the Jersey pound is recognized only to the neighboring Channel Islands (Guernsey, Sark and Alderney) as a valid method of payment.

The smaller island of Guernsey has its own currency, the Guernsey pound, which is also worth connected with the pound sterling and recognized only to the Channel Islands as payment.

A designation according to ISO 4217 does not exist, the usual acronym is JEP.
