Jerzy Kaczmarek

Jerzy Kaczmarek Mieczysław ( born January 8, 1948 in Lubsko, Poland ) is a former Polish fencer and Olympic champion.

Kaczmarek was the first time at the World Fencing Championships in 1969 in the Polish team. In the occupation Ryszard Parulski, Lech Koziejowski Jerzy Kaczmarek, Marek Dabrowski and Witold Woyda the team only lost in the final against the Soviet team. In Vienna in 1971 reached Witold Woyda, Marek Dabrowski, Jerzy Kaczmarek, Lech Koziejowski and Adam Lisewski again the World Cup final and subject this time the French team.

At the Olympic Games in Munich, the Polish team with Marek Dabrowski, Jerzy Kaczmarek, Lech Koziejowski, Witold Woyda and Arkadiusz Godel to fight through to the finals, where she won against the Soviet team gold medal. Two years later, reached at the World Fencing Championships 1974 in Grenoble Marek Dabrowski, Lech Koziejowski Jerzy Kaczmarek and Ziemowit Wojciechowski the final and subject to there against the Soviet team.
