Jes Brieden

Jes Brieden ( born May 10, 1974 in New York City, also known as JES ) is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and frequent guest vocalist.

Biography

Jes Brieden grew up in New York and studied art and singing at an art college. 2001, when she worked in a recording studio in Los Angeles, she met Mike Olson and founded with him the project Guardians of the Earth. They produced together the songs Star Children and One Moon Circling. Star Children was published on Paul van Dyk The Politics of Dancing compilation.

Her most famous works date from the collaboration with Gabriel & Dresden. Together they formed the group Motorcyle. In 2003, her hit As the Rush Comes No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Radio Airplay chart. This hit led to numerous international appearances. So they came about at the World Electronic Music Festival in Toronto and in the British music show Top of the Pops next to Beyoncé and Maroon 5.

Since she met Tiësto, she signed with his record label Black Hole Recordings and published in 2007 her first solo album Disconnect. Together with the Dutch DJ they produced the song Everything, which was released on Tiësto album Elements of Life. On the global concert tour Elements of Life she stepped on each as the opening artist. Jes has also worked with other DJs like D: collaborated Fuse, Deepsky and Solarstone. In January 2008, she released her second solo album Into The Dawn with the highly successful single imagination, which in turn brought it to # 1 on the Hot Dance Airplay charts. In March 2010, she released her new album High Glow.
