Jesper Parnevik

Jesper Parnevik ( born March 7, 1965 in Danderyd, Stockholm ) is a Swedish professional golfer.

Career

In 1986, Parnevik turned professional in 1989 and recorded the European Tour, where he remained until 1995. Then he worked for North American PGA TOUR. His first tournament victory came there in 1998 at the Phoenix Open.

So far, Parnevik recorded four tournament victories on the European Tour and five on the PGA Tour. In the Ryder Cup Parnevik played in three consecutive meetings between 1997 and 2002 in two successful European team. For Sweden he played twice in the World Cup four times and the now abandoned Dunhill Cup.

Parnevik became famous on the PGA Tour in the first place in addition to his success by his Unfolded sun sign, which always jammed behind the ear tea, and the striking 70er/80er-Jahre clothing. Away from the Gulf, he drew attention to himself with oblique actions such as electricity and water, volcanic sand diet. He is also known by its generous lifestyle he shares with his friends.

Family

He is married to Mia Parnevik and has four daughters: Peg (* 1995), Penny (* 1997), Philippa (* 1999) and Phoenix (* 2001). The family lives in Jupiter, Florida.

His father is the most popular in Sweden comedian and entertainer Bosse Parnevik.
